1) What is the Air Force Scout Recognition Program?

The Air Force Scout Recognition Program acknowledges the achievements of young men and women of America's Scouting organizations (Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the USA) who have achieved the highest rank/honor in their respective organizations.

 

2) What do the young men and women who participate in the Air Force Scout Recognition Program receive?

These outstanding young men and women receive a Certificate of Achievement on behalf of the U.S. Air Force from the Secretary of the Air Force and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (the two highest-ranking officials of the Air Force).

 

3) How do I submit a request for a Certificate of Achievement for my scout?

All requests must be submitted on-line. Visit the Air Force Scout Recognition Program website to submit your request.

 

4) Can requests be sent in via postal mail of fax?

No. Any requests sent via postal mail or fax will be returned and requestor will be asked to enter their information online. Visit the Air Force Scout Recognition Program website to submit your request.

 

5) How far in advance should requests for certificates be submitted?

Please allow at least four weeks for your congratulatory certificates to be printed and mailed.

 

6) How long does it take (on average) to receive a Certificate of Achievement?
